The <strong>Fitter</strong> trade was a comprehensive workshop-oriented vocational programme
that provided students with practical training in fitting, fabrication, machine tools,
precision measurement, maintenance practices, engineering materials, and industrial
safety. The course emphasized hands-on skill development using a wide range of hand
tools, measuring instruments, drilling, grinding, cutting, and fitting machines in
accordance with industry standards.

Trainees developed the technical competencies required for manufacturing industries,
maintenance workshops, engineering companies, fabrication units, and mechanical
service sectors through extensive practical exercises and workshop experience.
